Lake City, Minnesota, U.S.

My name is Greg Berge, and I have been a teacher, coach, and school administrator for the last 28 years. I have always had a great interest in and passion for leadership, team development, competition, and success. Currently, I serve as the High School Principal and Varsity Boys' Basketball Coach in Lake City, MN. Additionally, I am a Licensed Sports Leadership Facilitator through the Janssen Sports Leadership Center. In my 18 years of school administration, I have gained a unique and broad perspective on leadership, team development, and the factors contributing to the success of both teams and individuals. Through my 17 years as a Varsity Basketball Coach, as well as my prior experience as an assistant coach in multiple sports, I have gained valuable insights into what makes great teams thrive. Throughout the years, our basketball teams have been fortunate to achieve eleven conference championships (including nine consecutive titles) and two section championships. As an assistant varsity coach, I have also contributed to coaching teams that have won multiple section championships in football and girls' golf. Furthermore, I have had the privilege of coaching multiple players who have gone on to play college basketball across all levels, including NCAA Division I, Division II, NAIA Division II, and Division III. I thoroughly enjoy the process of helping others develop the skills needed to create great teams and become better leaders. It is a fulfilling endeavor that brings me great satisfaction.
